BEAT LIGHT — PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: October 1, 2026 Developer: İbrahim Tosun — İvatek Studio Website: https://www.ivatek.com Privacy and support contact: mobiledev@ivatek.com 1. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Beat Light, also called BeatLight (the “App”). İbrahim Tosun — İvatek Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for the App and for personal information we handle in connection with it. Beat Light uses nearby sound to animate visual effects and control the device's flashlight. You do not need to create a Beat Light account. The App includes advertising and an optional lifetime ad-removal purchase. Advertising providers, app stores and services you choose to open may process information under their own privacy policies. This policy describes the App. It does not describe all data practices of external websites, including websites opened from the App. 2. MICROPHONE AND AUDIO PROCESSING The App requests microphone permission when you start its live sound-responsive features. It measures audio levels locally to control the visual effects and flashlight. The App does not send microphone audio or sound-level samples to our servers or supply them to advertising services. It does not perform speech transcription or voice identification. On iOS, the current audio engine creates a local file named recording.m4a inside the App's private Documents directory while measuring sound. When recording stops normally, the engine attempts to delete this file. An unexpected shutdown or a failed deletion can leave the file on the device. Accordingly, the App should not be understood as never writing audio to storage. There is no in-app recording library, playback feature or audio-sharing feature. On Android, the current sound engine processes microphone samples in memory and does not intentionally save them as an audio file. Microphone access is intended to stop when you turn off the light, open Settings or leave the active App. You can revoke microphone permission in device settings at any time; live sound-responsive features will then be unavailable. The flashlight feature does not capture photographs or video. 3. SETTINGS AND LOCAL USAGE INFORMATION The App stores preferences on your device, including your selected language, colors, color mode, wave style and timer setting. If you have not selected a language, it reads the device language to choose a supported translation, with English as the fallback. It also stores a local ad-removal status, an App launch count, accumulated light-use duration, qualifying session counts and information about previous review requests. These counters help determine when to request an App Store or Google Play review. They are not a record of the sounds you make. The App does not send these local counters to a developer-operated analytics server. These local preferences are separate from any usage information collected by advertising SDKs. Device or cloud backup services may include App data according to your operating system and backup settings, including a remaining iOS audio file. We do not operate those backup services. 4. ADVERTISING DATA The free version uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on platform, settings and consent, Google may collect or receive: - IP address and approximate location inferred from it; - advertising identifiers and other device, app or account-related identifiers; - ad impressions, clicks, video views and other interactions; - diagnostic and performance information, such as crashes, launch time and responsiveness. Google uses relevant information for ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Beat Light does not request precise GPS location for its features or provide microphone audio to Google for advertising. Google's SDK disclosures describe these practices: https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/privacy/data-disclosure https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure Google's privacy and advertising information: https://policies.google.com/privacy https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites 5. ADVERTISING CONSENT AND CONTROLS The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage advertising choices where applicable. Available messages and choices depend on your region, platform and the advertising configuration. Where required, Settings includes an advertising privacy option to revisit your choices. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency controls permission for tracking across other companies' apps and websites. You can manage that permission in system settings. Denying tracking permission does not prevent use of the sound and light features and does not necessarily remove all advertising or all SDK data processing. Android provides advertising identifier controls in device settings. Non-personalized or limited advertising may still involve data processing for delivery, measurement, security or fraud prevention. A recognized lifetime ad-removal purchase stops the App from requesting and displaying its advertisements. It does not erase information already held by Google or a store, and it does not disable transaction processing needed to recognize your purchase. If the advertising SDK was already initialized before a purchase, removing ads is not a guarantee that every SDK or consent-related communication immediately ceases. 6. PURCHASES AND RESTORATION Purchases are processed by the store through which you obtained the App, such as Apple's App Store or Google Play. The store handles payment details and its own transaction records. We do not receive your full payment card details or store account password. The App receives purchase and restoration information from the store, which may include a product identifier, transaction identifier, transaction date, status and receipt or verification data. It uses this information to recognize paid access, complete transactions and restore purchases. The current App does not send receipts to a developer-operated verification server. It keeps the ad-removal status locally. Store privacy information: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ https://policies.google.com/privacy 7. SUPPORT, SHARING AND REVIEWS If you email mobiledev@ivatek.com, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. This may include your name, device details or purchase reference. We use this information to respond, resolve problems and handle related requests. Please do not send passwords, full payment card details or sensitive recordings. Sharing uses your device's share sheet. Information you choose to share is handled by the destination app or service you select. Beat Light does not need access to your contacts to offer this feature. Ratings and reviews are handled by the relevant store. A review may be public under the store's rules. The App does not receive a report of the rating you selected from the system review prompt. 8. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES We handle relevant information to provide requested App functions, remember settings, recognize purchases, answer support requests, display advertising under the applicable choices, and meet legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on providing the service you request, your consent where required, applicable legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as responding to support requests and protecting the service, subject to your rights. Third-party providers explain their own purposes and legal bases in their policies. Accepting this policy does not itself grant microphone access or constitute consent to advertising tracking. 9. DISCLOSURE AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING Advertising providers receive information through their SDKs, stores process purchase information, and email service providers handle support correspondence. We may also disclose information we hold when legally required or where lawfully necessary to address fraud, security issues or legal claims. We do not sell microphone recordings or local sound-level samples. Advertising disclosures may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws, even without a direct payment for data. Where applicable, use the advertising privacy choices and contact us about exercising your rights. Providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy policies describe processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards. Contact us for information about transfers involving support information we control. 10. RETENTION AND DELETION Local preferences and counters remain until cleared, replaced or removed with App data. Normal iOS audio shutdown attempts to delete the recording file as described above; deletion is not guaranteed after an interruption. Deleting the App and its data, rather than merely offloading it, removes its local container under the operating system's rules. Backups may retain copies and can restore data later. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter, address follow-up questions, and satisfy applicable legal or dispute-related requirements. The appropriate period depends on the content and purpose of the correspondence; we do not promise immediate deletion where retention is legally required. Google and the app stores apply their own retention policies. Uninstalling Beat Light does not automatically delete their records or cancel a store entitlement. You may need to manage backups or submit a request directly to the relevant provider. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete data held only on your device. 11. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures. You may also have rights concerning automated processing where applicable and a right to complain to a competent data protection authority. Contact mobiledev@ivatek.com to make a request concerning information we control. We may request proportionate verification and clarification, and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not require you to create an App account merely to submit a request. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason as required by law. Exercising your rights will not result in unlawful discrimination. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Some choices, such as denying microphone access, affect features that depend on that permission. For data controlled by Google or a store, their privacy tools may be necessary. 12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY The App does not ask users to enter their age or date of birth. An app store age rating describes content suitability and is not a promise that advertising or other services involve no personal data. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use, review microphone and advertising permissions, and manage store purchases through device controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without any consent required by applicable law, contact mobiledev@ivatek.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required. 13. SECURITY The App relies on operating-system permissions and application storage protections. No device, storage method or network service can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and account credentials, keep software updated, and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in support messages. 14. CHANGES AND CONTACT We may update this policy when the App or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice and seek consent where required by applicable law.
